By age ten, Ava was 5’5” and built like a push-pop. Raised in Johns Creek, Georgia by a Puerto Rican from the Bronx, she could often be found bursting into some original song about “the big city” or speaking to trees. Most recently, Ava worked as a contributing writer for Season 3 and the soon-to-be released Season 4 of Dropout.tv's MAKE SOME NOISE, creating viral clips that have garnered millions of views across Dropout’s social media channels. She has long championed her fellow freaks, and often finds herself writing about the mortifying desire to be seen.

Since 2020, Ava has worked for the true-crime production company behind Unsolved Mysteries and A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read, where she researches puzzling cold-cases, schmoozes with her contacts at the FBI, and hides her useless pop-culture knowledge. She's also a UCB-trained improviser and a graduate of USC's prestigious MFA Writing for Film and Television program.
